Alhambra Theater

Hopkinsville, KY
September, 2008

The rare and deligtful orange and black Vitrolite facade of the Alhambra Theater is in Hopinsville, Kentucky, burial place of the early twentieth century healer, Edgar Cayce.

The vestibule ticket booth area was enclosed in 2008. Vitrolite Specialist replaced some of the missing orange in the vestibule with black and restored the facade.

Vitrolite Specialist also reset two very large mirrors in the vestibule and restored the stone-like sound proofing walls to the right and left of the stage.

This theater has a tremendous volunteer group and it shows. The entire theater s restored and a visit is well worth it.
